Learn to Play Golf in the Algarve

The team teaching
experience will be able to help you with all aspects
of the game, from consistent putting to the
intricacies of good course management.
Head pro, Oliver says, "The teaching concept we
believe in is to teach from the "ground up". Starting
normally with the short game (start golf), including
many putting ideologies then progressing through to the
full swing and on course teaching.

Beginner's Course
|
This programme details the core elements of
the game. You will be taught both the
theoretical and practical parts in a relaxed but
informative manner. Putting, short game, bunker
play and driving will be covered with various
practice techniques to help you towards a
consistent swing. The purpose for this course is
to prepare pupils to a level where they are able
to venture out onto the golf course for the
first time. This programme includes driving
range fees, balls, equipment and transport is
also available.

Beginners' Course
|

By the end of the programme participants will:-

know the basics about golf equipment, techniques, rules, and playing on a golf
course

be able to tee up a ball, make progress on a fairway and putt a ball into a
hole

have identified how they can further improve their game

appreciate that practice makes perfect

have had fun

Golf schools and individual lessons at Supergolf should be prebooked. We
recommend that those participating in tuition programmes stay in Vilamoura.

| With so many golf courses in the Algarve, it is not surprising that there are
also many associated practice facilities and golf academies.
In the western Algarve there is a David Leadbetter Academy close to
Pestana - Pinta Course. At Penina Academy there are two 9-hole
courses to test the skills of the new player. The Sheraton Pine Cliffs
has a well established academy and a beautiful course for beginners. In
the Vilamoura area, as well as the Supergolf Academy, there is an academy
at Vila Sol.
Also there are teaching pros based on most of the courses and at the driving
ranges. Many offer learning packages (as well as clinics for those
wishing to improve their golf).
